A' Zhe
Hayashi Shichetsu
Born in Nantou County, Taiwan, he was influenced by his father, Lin Taishan, a well-known tea producer in the area, and learned tea making from a young age. In 2018, he took over everything from his parents and began seriously working on traditional Dong Ding Oolong tea production.
Not only does the tea plantation adhere to traditional methods of producing Dong Ding Oolong tea, it has also completely transitioned to natural farming, using no pesticides or fertilizers whatsoever. Although yields have decreased significantly, the resulting tea is like a gift from nature, left behind after insects have consumed it, and possesses a natural flavor unlike that of ordinary tea.
Meet and disband at Taipei 101
We'll meet at the train station and travel by taxi. We'll meet and disperse at the destination, allowing you to freely plan your trip.
No language barrier
Simultaneous interpretation in Japanese, Chinese, and Taiwanese allows for direct interaction with producers, enabling you to ask any questions you may have.
